Bus Tour: Stop 3 - The Real Destination

These are pyramids that actually pre-date the Aztecs who used them most recently. I did not do the climb to the tops of the pyramids. My fear of heights kicked in pretty hard after 10 steps. (I turned around, looked down then promptly sat down.) I am featured in 2 of the photos - one from afar (I'm about 3 pixels of green... the 3 pixels of red right next to me happens to be the mother of the child featured in photo 120) and one from quite close. The final picture of the Pyramid of the Moon (124) is a really cool view that I wouldn't have had if ... well... we kind of got separated from the group then we got turned around... then we took a trolley. Ed, however, not only hiked to the top of each pyramid, he found his way directly to the meeting point without any trouble (except that he went without me... ;).

The pyramids are truly awe-inspiring in their sheer volume, not to mention dimensions.
